WHY WE EXIST
Our founder, Cierra Melvin, created Glitz & Cosmix from a place of deep personal need. After experiencing pregnancy loss, postpartum struggles, and the relentless juggling act of motherhood, marriage, working a 9-5, and running a business—she realized that self-care couldn’t be optional. It had to be a lifeline.
Through all of life’s heaviness, Cierra discovered small moments of peace in caring for her skin. Applying a rich body butter, breathing in a calming scent, whispering an affirmation—it became more than skincare; it became a way to claim who she was beyond stress and expectations.
Glitz & Cosmix was born from this truth: sometimes the simplest rituals are the most profound. And every woman deserves a moment to just be, to pour back into herself, and to honor how far she’s come.
